Style & Competition for AMADE : Great entertainment for a good cause

image description
Every year the public of the Gucci Paris Masters look forward to this event with bated breath.   What surprises will the riders and artists have lined up, challenging each other’s inventiveness to delight and amuse them in this fancy dress Pro-am class organised for AMADE?   Who will think up the most beautiful costumes, the most original staging? Pénélope Leprévost and Marie André-Ravaut as wrestlers for Equidia? Philippe Rozier and Electra Niarchos, hilarious as characters from “Les Bronzés font du ski” (a cult French comedy film) under the watchful eye of Thierry Lhermitte? Jane Richard Philips and Jennifer Gates, inspired by the Christmas spirit for Longines? Pius Schwizer and Tamara Zahid, as really punchy Daft Punk? Kevin Staut as the Little Prince and Céline Nebout as the Rose for Esthederm? In the end, the jury installed in armchairs on the edge of the arena, made up of Ariane Massenet, Guillaume Durand and Benjamin Castaldi, crowned three joint winners for their artistic talent: the Gucci Kids team represented by Jessica Springsteen and Guillaume Canet, who solicited Mario Luraschi and set a stuntman and at the same time the public ablaze, Gucci’s Edwina Tops-Alexander and Charlotte Casiraghi, surprising as rappers with Gucci tagged on their horses’ coats and Nicolas Canteloup, never short of a great idea for “AMADE”, as Charles Ingalls from “The Little House on the Prairie”, accompanied by Vincent Bartin as Caroline, who chopped up an obstacle for firewood for the winter. Cameron Hanley and Morgane Dassio, as Minions from “Despicable Me" for Euroasia, were the fastest in the arena.

This extremely festive evening and the generosity of the riders and partners allowed 170,000 euros to be raised for AMADE Mondiale, which was handed over to its president, HRH Princess Caroline of Hanover, during the prize giving ceremony.
This very emotional evening brought the third day of the Gucci Paris Masters to a close, thrilling the public in the jam-packed stands, as well as the Masters Club’s spectators including Marion Cotillard, who was very impressed by Guillaume Canet’s performance, actors Thierry Lhermitte, Gaspard Ulliel and Pascal Elbé, the champion jockey Dominique Boeuf, the singer Tété, the yachtsman Loïck Peyron, the recently crowned winner of the Route du Rhum in record time, Sophie Thalmann, Nathalie Simon, Richard Orlinski and many others.
Later today, the world’s best riders will be back in their more traditional breeches and jackets to compete in the Gucci Grand Prix at 15:00.
