Shane Breen is one of Ireland’s top riders. Born in Limerick he started hunting during his childhood and that placed him in good stead for a brilliant career in show jumping.
Shane represented Ireland at pony level and was a European Silver Medallist. He has won many Irish Nations Cups including those at Dublin in 2006 and 2011 and Hickstead in 2012.
Last year Cos I Can, a horse bred by Shane’s cousin John Griffin, jumped a double clear in the Nations’ Cup at Hickstead and was named the best horse in the competition.
