The upcoming Masters of Los Angeles, October 1-4, 2015, at the LA Convention Center will launch the new Season of the Longines Masters. Here is why we think it is not to be missed:
 
REASON #1 The Best of Show Jumping: the only 5* CSI Show Jumping competition on the West Coast, the Masters of Los Angeles attracts the best riders and horse in the world competing at the highest level of competition, with jumps at maximum height of 1.60 meters or 5 feet and 3 inches.
 
REASON #2 The Best Riders and Horses in the World: Reigning Olympic Champion Steve Guerdat from Switzerland; World number 1 Scott Brash from the UK; World number 2, Olympic multi-medalist and US leading rider Beezie Madden; World Cup Final winner Daniel Deusser from Germany, Silver World Champion medalists Kevin Staut and Patrice Delaveau from France will all be competing at the next Masters of Los Angeles. Our iconic competition Pro-Am Style & Competition for Charity involves 10 teams, representing 10 charities and supported by 10 generous sponsors. The teams of two, a professional and an amateur rider, swap their formal riding gear for more far-fetched costumes, turning their sporting performance into a entertaining show, over a music theme of their choice. Two consecutive wins offer a reward of 500 000 euros and two Grands Prix victory in the same year a 250 000 euros bonus.  Equestrian legend John Whitaker from the UK was the winner of the Longines Grand Prix of Hong Kong last February. During the day, many activities will take place in the Prestige Village including unique dressage demonstations by US dressage superstar Steffen Peters, signature sessions with the world best riders etc…In the Lounge, live music and DJ set will take place every evening whilst visitors enjoy the wineing and dining.  It is not because we’re talking serious Show jumping competition that you are not there to have fun !
