The Gucci Gold Cup heads to Los Angeles
Thursday 23rd July 2015 Los Angeles
Already a crown jewel of Hong Kong 2015 event of the Longines Masters Series, the Gucci Gold Cup will make its American debut this year at the Longines Masters of Los Angeles.

“We are unbelievably grateful that our relationship with Gucci continues to develop across the Masters Series on all three continents,” said EEM’s CEO Christophe Ameeuw. The Gucci Gold Cup will be held on Saturday night and promises a very glamorous evening, as the world best riders battle to win the coveted prestigious Gucci trophy.

At the Longines Masters of Hong Kong last February, riders from Great Britain swept the Gucci Gold Cup podium. John Whitaker aboard Argento captured the win, with his fellow British competitors Jessica Mendoza and Scott Brash following in second and third, respectively.

Heading into the Los Angeles stop on the tour, the world’s best riders can only wonder if the Brits will repeat their clean sweep, or if they’ll leave the door open for different flags to rise at the evening’s end. And over the course of two rounds in an international class, 25 of the very best will vie to take top honors of the Gucci Gold Cup on Saturday, October 3.
