Monday 02nd February 2015 Hong Kong
The 2015 Longines Hong Kong Masters not only provides a competition ground for the world’ s best show jumping riders, the event is also a prime opportunity for some of the region’s up and coming riders to learn from this elite group.

For the third consecutive year the popular series of HKJC Masters Classes will take place during the three days of world class competition at AsiaWorld-Expo.

Specially selected members of the Hong Kong Jockey Club’s Junior Equestrian Training Squad (JETS) will receive exclusive coaching from some of the biggest names in the sport including current World Number 2 and Olympic Gold Medallist Ludger Beerbaum.

The aim of the HKJC Masters Classes is to groom the stars of the future and ultimately raise the standard of the sport in Hong Kong.

This year six special clinics for the JETS will take place during the Longines Hong Kong Masters to enhance their riding skills. Commitments like this have already paid off handsomely for the JETS.

During the past five years HKJC sponsored riders have achieved a number of historic results for Hong Kong including individual gold and bronze medals and a team bronze at the Jinan 2009 National Games, a silver medal at the Singapore 2010 Youth Olympics, a team bronze at the Guangzhou 2010 Asian Games and an individual silver medal at the Shenyang 2013 National Games.

All visitors to the Longines Hong Kong Masters are welcome to go along and watch the HKJC Masters Classes and lend their support to Hong Kong’s riders of the future.
