The Australian has been competing on the international circuit for 15 years. She was elected rider of the year in 1997, 2006 and 2007, named “best female rider” of the Valkenswaard and Brussels jumpings in 2006. In 2008, she was the first woman to win the Zurich Grand Prix. In 2009, Edwina Tops-Alexander is the only female rider to have joined the World Top 10. She is accumulating performances with Itôt du Château (the ex partner of the Frenchman Michel Hécart), by also winning the Cannes Grand Prix in 2010. In 2011, the rider continues to flourish at the highest level, along with a second place in the CSI5*-W of Vigo, a third place in Zurich and winning of the Global Champion Tour. Additionally, she became ambassadress of the prestigious Italian brand Gucci. Thanks to her leading horses Itôt du Château, Socrates, Isovlas Pialotta, Edwina Tops-Alexander has become a very serious contestant on the circuit. Even if this fabulous horse said good-bye to competition in 2014, she can count on new resources as Old Chap Tame and Ego Von Orti
