The Longines Masters of Los Angeles is proud to annonce that this year, there will be a special dressage demonstration by one of the best American dressage riders of his time, Steffen Peters. Born in Germany but now an American citizen, Peters has competed in the Olympic sport for team USA in 2008 and 2012, winning a team bronze in 2008. More recently, Peters helped the team clinch gold at the 2015 Pan American Games.

In a rare opportunity to watch the expert rider in his element, Peters will engage with the Masters audience through dressage presentations, lasting about 10 minutes each. Learn all about the piaffe, the pirouette, and the other highly technical movements that make dressage one of the most elegant and rigorous sports.

Peters will talk to the audience through the sound system while astride his horse, demonstrating all of dressage’s intricacies. He will then exhibit a freestyle program set to music, also known as a Kür, to showcase his preceding tutorial.

So mark those calendars to experience the incredible demonstration by noting the provisional schedule.
