HH Sheikh Ali has had a late interest in the equestrian sports. It's his love for horses that leads him, at the age of 17, to start riding. However, in a very short time he demonstrates his talent and quickly appeared on the international scene. Under the colors of Qatar, traveling the globe, he rides nine different horses led by the Qatar national team coach, Jan Tops, and already has many rankings to his credit, including a fourth-place by team in the Asian Games held in Doha in 2006, a sixth place also by team in the Pan Arab Games in Cairo in 2007 and a third place in the CSI4 * Braunschweig in Germany. In 2012 he created the surprise by making a jump of 151 places in the world ranking, and its success merely string together ever since.
